Reviews for Suesey Street
Review highlights
Based on 577 reviewsSuesey Street in Dublin is widely praised for its fresh, flavorful modern European cuisine with standout dishes such as lamb chops and seafood chowder. The restaurant’s elegant and contemporary interior, including a unique glassed-in porch, creates a pleasant atmosphere suited for both casual dining and special celebrations. Service is commonly described as attentive and professional, enhancing the overall experience. While appetizers and desserts receive consistent acclaim, some feedback highlights occasional inconsistency with main courses, particularly regarding meat quality. The beverage selection, especially wines, is noted for its quality despite higher prices. Overall, Suesey Street is recommended for those seeking a refined dining experience with a focus on well-presented, satisfying dishes and a welcoming ambiance.
Overall a very enjoyable dinner, though the couple next to us spent about 30 minutes video chatting with their teenage son, which was inexplicably allowed to continue by the wait staff. We arrived for a 7pm reservation and were surprised to find the place empty though others soon arrived. We sat in a lovely glassed in porch with adjustable open air roof. They turned on the heaters and it was very comfortable. The wine list has a number of options by the glass and an extensive bottle collection (many over €200). My husband enjoyed the gravlax appetizer. I ordered the burrata which was tasty but somewhat soup like and lacking a spoon or bread/crackers. We each had fish entrees - excellent! We skipped dessert as we had music plans.
Recommended. Really nice atmosphere and great apetizers and desserts... not impressed by the main where the meat was not a nice cut and had lots of nerves. Wine even if expensive was good.
I had a truly excellent experience at this restaurant. The cuisine is impeccable each dish was presented with great care and a well balanced combination of flavors that deserves recognition. The staff, in turn, provided exceptional service: courteous, attentive, and always committed to ensuring a pleasant and professional dining experience. The beverages exceeded my expectations in both variety and quality, with thoughtfully crafted combinations and impeccable presentation. Without a doubt, this is a place I will gladly return to and highly recommend.
Everything was very tasty. I really liked the Achill lamb chops. Pate for starter was really creamy and went well with a slice of brioche. The desert was fine, people I sat with thought I ordered another pate, because of the same shape The interior design looks cool. Edit: after a year, they still do great food
The food was amazing. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Seafood was great, especially the seafood chowder. Great place for celebrations. We went there for our anniversary and they gave complementary drinks. Highly recommend this restaurant!
We recently hosted a client’s wedding lunch on the terrace at Suesey Street, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The entire team were incredibly helpful and professional, assisting with the set-up and working closely with our team in the lead-up to the event. A special thanks to Emma and John, who were exceptionally helpful throughout — their support, responsiveness, and attention to detail made a real difference. On the day, everything ran seamlessly, and the couple were absolutely delighted with how it all turned out. The setting was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was just right for such a special occasion. Huge thanks to everyone at Suesey Street for helping to make the day so memorable.
BRILLIANT! The service provided was just simply outstanding, Cainan recommended some amazing dishes for us to try. Every restaurant must have a guy like him, he was very patient, full of energy and kind to speak with. Would surely come back for the experience. I would totally rate the food and hospitality a 10/10. The place has a beautiful vibe as well.
